CMIC Elects William S. Potter, M. D. to its Board of Directors
GLASTONBURY, CT – April 17, 2008 – CMIC, a leading doctor-owned medical malpractice insurer serving Connecticut and Massachusetts, today announced it has elected William S. Potter, M.D. to its board of directors. Potter also serves on the Board’s Risk Management Committee.

Potter, a partner at Greenwich Ophthalmology Associates, specializes in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus. Potter completed a fellowship in these subspecialties in 1990 at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He graduated with honors from Dartmouth College, received medical education from New York Medical College, and residency training at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. Potter currently has consulting and admitting privileges at Stamford Hospital and Greenwich Hospital, respectively.
